This charity was set up after the tragic loss of a brilliant woman and friend of the founders of Abbott Lyon. Miranda died at the age of 30 from this rare and hard to treat disease. She was a truly brilliant person and a keen horse-rider. Her parents have been working tirelessly to raise money and awareness of this disease in Miranda‚ honour, and launching this charity bracelet is Abbott Lyon‚ small way of contributing to an important cause.
